Youth Self Defense Workshop
The Youth Self-Defense Seminar is designed to help children develop practical safety skills, awareness, and confidence in a structured, supportive environment.
This seminar focuses specifically on abduction prevention, bully defense, situational awareness, and age-appropriate self-protection skills that children can realistically understand and apply. Training is designed to help students stay calm, think clearly, and respond effectively during stressful situations without creating fear or anxiety.
Students will learn how to recognize unsafe situations early, use verbal and physical boundaries appropriately, and apply simple, effective defensive responses when necessary.
This seminar includes:
- Situational awareness and safety habits
- Stranger awareness and abduction prevention concepts
- Boundary setting and verbal assertiveness
- Bully defense strategies and confidence building
- Escapes from common grabs and holds
- Movement, balance, and reaction skills
- Decision-making under stress
- Age-appropriate partner drills and scenario training
- Confidence-building through repetition and structure
- Safety strategies for school, public spaces, and everyday environments
Training is structured to be safe, encouraging, and beginner-friendly while helping students build real confidence through practical skill development.
The goal is not fear-based training. The goal is helping children become more aware, more confident, and more capable of protecting themselves through simple, proven self-defense principles.
